Oct. 10, four weeks out: it’s now Trump’s race to win or lose

gettyimages-613640710-e1476061407103

I suspect most commentators missed the real significance of Donald Trump’s move to make sure the three most prominent victims of Bill Clinton’s rapes and sexual assaults -– Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Wiley and Paula Jones (along with Kathy Shelton, see http://www.infowars.com/the-rapist-and-the-enabler/ ) — were seated prominently in the small audience at his “Town Hall” debate with Hillary Clinton Sunday night, in plain sight of the candidate who took it upon herself to intimidate them and seek to destroy their reputations -– their assailant’s wife, enabler, and political partner — all those years ago.

Hillary’s allies in the press called it a “stunt.” Translated to non-media English, that means “It wasn’t part of our agenda, and that upsets us, because we’re not quite sure what it means or how to explain it.”

What do you suppose those women asked Donald Trump to do for them, in exchange for their presence? You already know, if you’ll think about it for a moment. There’s only one thing I can imagine their asking: They asked him to win.

And like Babe Ruth, knowing there was a small boy out there who had asked him for nothing but a hit, he did. Mr. Trump grew calm. He grew serious. He talked about what he wants to do for them, if voters will honor him with the office. Sunday night, he won.

Was it a home run? More like peppering the infield with singles. Still, I suspect he did just a little better than he’d planned on doing. I think it’s now dawned on him just how dark and desperate this smiling witch can be. (Am I the only one who thinks the “smile like a lunatic, to show my opponent is so funny” schtick is wearing very thin?)

But he did it for them, and for everyone else the Clintons have victimized, in their single-minded pursuit of wealth and power for them, them, them, all down the years.

And we still haven’t gotten to the real significance of those three silent witnesses.

Mind you, I’m not saying there can’t be more surprises. Hillary’s huge Opposition Research team has been at work for months, screening every piece of audio and video they can locate, trying to find embarrassing things to use against Donald Trump. And they’re too smart to use them all at once. They worked for months, rehearsing Alicia Machado to come out just after the first debate, claiming (as she was paid and rehearsed to say) that Trump ruined her life by calling her fat when she won his Miss Universe Pageant and promptly gained 50 pounds – even though in fact the videotapes clearly show Trump DEFENDED Machado against pageant staff who wanted to pull her crown over that weight gain — and that she’s the kind of upstanding, trustworthy gal whose fiancé called off the wedding when he saw her having sex with someone else ON TELEVISION . . . just as Trump reported, no matter how many times the lying New York Times claims the “alleged sex tape is non-existent.”

th

(See http://redstatewatcher.com/article.asp?id=40509 , . . . or . . . http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/09/30/fact-check-five-things-to-know-alicia-machado/ .)

Then there was the 11-year-old secretly taped private conversation in which Trump bragged about his sexual prowess, using the words “pussy” and “fuck” -– turned over to the Washington Post by a member of the Bush family who works for NBC News (talk about a double play!) just in time to embarrass Trump the day before the SECOND presidential debate.

So I’m sure a third surprise is already planned, for the week of the third debate. If that still allows us to call it a “surprise.” Any guesses? A pornographic poem he wrote when he was 13 years old? An ex-wife paid to talk about his sex habits? Re-filing some unsupported child-rape or love-child allegation thrown out by the courts years ago? (The world being what it is, rich guys do draw such “extortion attempts.”)

But Mrs. Clinton slipped up Sunday night, didn’t she? Remember how, all summer, her allies in the mainstream press kept calling anything Trump said a “gaffe”? If he mentioned immigration it was a “gaffe” because it might offend Hispanics. If he mentioned the terrible economic conditions in our inner cities that was a “gaffe” because it might offend black folk. You remember.

Oh, these TV network folk are the world’s great experts on people being “offended” — a bloodless kind of symbolic “offense” which is expressed in words by the “spokesperson” for some “victim group” who no longer even realizes he or she is supposed to display some simulacrum of an emotion approximately equivalent to the one they might display if they were actually “offended.”

Well, Hillary Clinton committed a “gaffe” Sunday night. Did you catch it? She was so anxious to gloat over how clever she’d been that she just couldn’t resist telling her opponent “I know how upset you must be about all those Republicans abandoning your campaign.”

But Trump wasn’t upset, was he? He had no reason to be.

ROMNEY, McCAIN, AND THE CLOWN CAR

Hillary Clinton hardly ever “ad libs” in public. Because her crafted, smiling, public persona is so far at variance from the actual shrill, vindictive, abusive personality so often described by those who have been exposed to her in private at close quarters — barking four-letter words like a drill sergeant to require her Secret Service bodyguards to carry her luggage, literally capable of reducing grown Arkansas state troopers to tears ( http://www.naturalnews.com/055582_Hillary_Clinton_foul_language_abuse_of_women.html) — she gets into trouble whenever she speaks off the cuff, as any of America’s 50 million-some “deplorables” can confirm. So the remark in question was almost certainly memorized after being composed days in advance — before she took the several-day pre-debate “drug holiday” which apparently makes the medications for her progressive neurological illness more effective.

But Paul Ryan and John McCain and the other Republicans who supposedly “jumped ship” in an effort to derail the Trump candidacy because they were “shocked, shocked” to hear Mr. Trump utter the word “pussy” in an 11-year-old, secretly recorded private conversation did so only one day before the Oct. 9 debate.

Clearly, the Clintons had a deal with a few of the old-line Republicans-In-Name-Only, the defeated losers and socialist sell-outs of yesterday, Mitt Romney and the octogenarian John McCain and his Arizona pal Jeff Flake, who have hated Trump from the get-go because he represents a new wave of free-market America-lovers who get their news from the Internet, a new wave of American “deplorables” who actually want a job so they can earn their way in the world, who want to shore up our borders against Muslim terrorist invaders and south-of-the-border illegal murderers and rapists as well, who are sick and tired of Obama and the Bushes and the Clintons and their Politically Correct, multi-cultural hogwash, destroying our economy to protect “endangered” weeds and bugs, a huge number of no-longer-voiceless Americans who want to stand tall and be free to call things what they really are.

Like Donald Trump does.

th

These leaders of last spring’s “Anybody But Trump” movement only pretended to fall into line and endorse Trump late this summer, precisely so they could mime a big “walkout of established Republicans” from the “Trump camp” after the revelation that 11 years ago Donald Trump said the word “pussy” -– all carefully orchestrated by the Clinton-Bush-Obama globalists, who really do aim to sell American sovereignty and even our freedom of speech down the river. ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/29/icann-un-take-internet-oct-1/ .)

Because he said the word “pussy.” The CLINTONS — a 30-year, two-person rape gang — attack Donald Trump for saying the word “pussy.”

(Meantime, does anyone care that when Bill Clinton unexpectedly lost his 1974 bid for an Arkansas congressional seat, Hillary shrieked at his campaign manager, Paul Fray, “you fucking Jew bastard!”? — http://dailycaller.com/2016/07/05/three-eyewitnesses-allege-hillary-called-aide-a-fking-jew-bastard/ . Why not?)

It reminds me of a high-school musical play produced with too small a cast, so the military escort in their helmets and breastplates are forever racing off stage and changing into tutus so they can come running back on to appear as the dancing swans in the next scene. Kind of funny, really. How many were involved in this “massive exodus of Trump’s Republican supporters”? Twelve? Some of whom had never endorsed him in the first place?

But here’s the thing: Hillary got ahead of herself. She expected Donald Trump to be on the ropes, Sunday night. She expected to encounter a whining, stumbling, teary-eyed, petulant shadow of his former self, pulling his hair out over how everything had fallen apart for him.

After all, Andrea Mitchell and everyone else in Hillary’s in-the-bag media SAID he’d had a terrible week — his worst ever — right? It says so right there in their scripts. See? Right here.

But it never happened.

Why?

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has no substance. Really. It’s ALL Opposition Research; it’s ALL about tearing down and maligning and destroying Donald Trump’s reputation -– baseless rumor campaigns designed to convince the Democratic faithful that he hates women, hates blacks, that he’ll be “the next Hitler,” setting loose his “brown shirts” on America. I’m not making this stuff up. I really hear this from Democrats. Are there little radios in their pillows that play them this stuff while they’re asleep, or what?

She’s running her campaign against Donald Trump precisely the way she set out to belittle, terrorize, intimidate, and destroy the reputations of those women she called the “lying bimbos,” the “gold-digging whores with the kneepads” — you know: Juanita Broaddrick. Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey.

But there they were Sunday night, as though back from the grave to silently point their fingers of guilt at her, the shades of her past crimes come back to life.

This seemed to confuse her. Not going according to plan, at all. And so her rehearsed snarky comment sounded vindictive and awkward and fell flat.

With apologies, I’ll now have to abandon baseball and change sports: The 12 weeks of the true presidential campaign -– mid-August to Nov. 8 -– are not a sprint. More like a two-mile run. As the runners enter the last half-mile, the challenger doesn’t need or want to be in the lead. He wants to be just off the right shoulder of the front-runner, a stride or two behind.

On Sunday night, Mrs. Clinton looked back, and what she saw sent a shiver down her spine. Despite all the obstacles she’s thrown in his path, that’s where Donald Trump was, Sunday night -– just off her right shoulder, two strides back, steady, not looking at all tired. Telling her she’s committed crimes and should go to jail.

Impossible! No one’s allowed to talk to her like that!

She’s running the only kind of campaign she knows how to run, and something has gone wrong.

Hillary Clinton can’t run a positive campaign -– she can’t explain her vision, where she wants to take America, how she wants to rebuild American industry, help Americans find better and more rewarding jobs, re-kindle this nation’s spirit and energy, defeat Islamic terrorism without getting us into some wider war, how she wants to harness the bully pulpit of the presidency to help anyone else. Anyone. Anyone else.

Because she has no such vision -– she can’t even imagine it. The presidency is not a tool she wants to USE to improve the lives and liberties of her fellow Americans. It’s just a final prize she wants to HAVE, because it means wealth and power for HER. (That $2 billion in the Clinton Foundation? NOT ENOUGH!) And she DESERVES it, dammit, because it’s her TURN, she’s been working toward no other goal for FORTY EFFING YEARS, including putting up with that retarded redneck rapist of a husband, some of them WEREN’T EVEN PRETTY, for God’s sake, so she will now continue to DESTROY anyone and any thing that stands between her and that empty, hollow, goal, which –- even if she attained it -– would promptly crumble to dust in her hands.

hillary-clinton-trump

Because that’s all she knows.

She actually said it, in one of her clever memorized sound bites, Sunday night. We don’t need Donald Trump to “make America great (again),” she simpered, because the America of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is already “great” -– no change needed.

YOU WANT TO DEFEND THE STATUS QUO? ARE YOU SURE?

Really? With 61 percent of Americans telling the pollsters America is “headed in the wrong direction”? With more and more Americans working two part-time jobs with no benefits to make ends meet (thanks to government-imposed penalties on any businessman foolish enough to create more full-time jobs)? With more and more private-sector jobs being shipped overseas thanks to our Byzantine and confiscatory tax code -– which she wants to make even MORE confiscatory? ( http://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwood/2016/09/23/hillary-clintons-65-estate-tax-or-donald-trumps-repeal/#23660b8b5bf7 .) With the Obamacare “exchanges” collapsing left and right as the insurance companies decline to lose tens or hundreds of millions of dollars again next year? (Gee, why didn’t someone tell her and Barack that people would wait to buy “insurance” till they got sick, destroying the entire risk-sharing IDEA of insurance? Oh, wait. EVERYBODY told them.)

th

No change is needed, everything is just “great” . . . when she wants to bring in 550 percent more of these Muslim terrorists shooting up our nightclubs and Army bases and church picnics? When we’re stuck in endless wars in the Middle East that could lead to a wider war with Russia (as she rattles her saber and vows to go at it HARDER) . . . even when the average American doesn’t have a clue who we’re fighting or why?

(Mrs. Clinton claims she wants to “defeat ISIS.” But she left ambassador Chris Stevens to die in Benghazi rather than OK a ready-to-go rescue mission that might have revealed what he was doing there -– illegally selling surplus Libyan arms . . . TO ISIS. Yes, to ISIS. Why has she been arming ISIS to fight the Assads in Syria at the same time she claims to have been “fighting ISIS”? Because the traitor Barack Hussein Obama vows “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet if Islam,” of course. But no, we don’t need any change. . . . )

Every American gun owner knows Hillary Clinton has said Australian-style gun confiscation and destruction is “worth a look.” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHGit3zF808 .) But Sunday night she put on her wide-eyed, innocent look and insisted, “I respect the Second Amendment.”

Wow. Did anybody buy that? Show of hands, please? Anyone?

She only lies when her lips move.

gettyimages-158581520-0-0

The Lamestream Media talk a lot about “fact-checking” Donald Trump — who usually turns out to be right, by the way. (See “Alicia Machado.”) But where were their “fact-checkers” Monday morning to examine Miss Hillary’s Sunday night claim that she “respects the Second Amendment”? It only takes 60 seconds to find these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lP3wjxJwlk . . . and . . . http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/10/10/hillary-clinton-supreme-court-is-wrong-on-the-second-amendment/ .

And what about her blithe Sunday night assertion that “Of course I wouldn’t allow any Syrian refugees into this country who aren’t well vetted”? Really? What about all our current immigration officials who say there’s no WAY to “vet” all these people — especially now that the pro-Sharia Obama administration has barred our guys from even asking about their religious beliefs?! (Another 60-second search turns up http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/10/another-dhs-official-confirms-no-way-to-vet-syrian-refugees/ , and http://thefederalist.com/2015/11/23/u-s-officials-cant-ask-syrian-refugees-key-questions/ .)

The Democrats ridicule Trump’s proposal to screen and “vet” would-be Muslim immigrants as “racist and logistically impossible” . . . and then she simultaneously claims they’re already doing it?

She gets to just make up any lie she wants; no questions asked? Not even the next day?

What Donald Trump should be looking to do is to pull back even in the polls on or about Oct. 16 or 17. Which he may very well be able to do, having won Sunday’s debate, hands-down, simply by calmly setting forth his vision for America.

At that point, having repeatedly poor-mouthed Mrs. Clinton, whining about how he “can’t afford as many TV ads” as the Democrat, I expect to see him launch, without further announcement, a substantial and fairly sophisticated rotation of TV and Internet ads -– more than $100 million worth -– a combination of stirring positive ads featuring American flags and helicopter gunships and Donald Trump, intermixed with a series of gritty, black-and-white, measured body blows against Hillary Clinton for her massive bribery operation at the State Department; for the systematic and purposeful destruction of our terrorism-fighting capabilities by the Obama-Clinton administration (see Phil Haney, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyiiWxWqHU0 , just for starters) ; for her criminal violation of security procedures which almost certainly led to the execution of defecting Iranian nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri (despite her denial Sunday night that her e-mail crimes caused any damage -– but then I suppose Amiri, a family man, was “just some furriner,” right? -– see http://www.breitbart.com/radio/2016/08/08/erik-prince-hillary-clinton-playing-fast-and-loose-with-national-security-very-likely-caused-iranian-nuclear-scientists-death/ ) . . .

th

I would hope to see some ads highlighting her speeches to Goldman-Sachs and other Wall Street types in which she promoted her vision for a “hemispheric government” with “totally open borders” ( http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/oct/8/hillary-clinton-dreams-open-borders-leaked-speech-/ . . . and, of course, featuring on-camera interviews with the rape and assault victims whose lives and reputations she attempted to ruin, including -– if you don’t know the name, yet, you will -– Arkansas child rape victim Kathy Shelton, whose grievance is not with BILL Clinton, at all. ( http://www.infowars.com/the-rapist-and-the-enabler/ . . . or . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdNHf1g4ivA . . . or . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4QTLbEa_7k .)

HEY, LITTLE GIRL . . .

When will the challenger pull into the lead? It’s the front-runner who generally signals the proper moment. The spring starts to vanish from her stride; her feet start to pound the track flat-footed. The challenger has to move early enough to allow the front-runner to put on a desperate final burst of speed, attempting to keep up for 60 yards or so. I’d expect the final surge around Oct. 25.

The big push will come in the battleground states, of course. Trump already holds Iowa and (shockingly) Ohio. Nevada, North Carolina. Florida, and Colorado are very close, should swing first, as soon as next week, if I’m right. To keep the Democrats off balance, watch for some unexpected Trump attention to Minnesota, Maine, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and even little blue-collar Rhode Island, as well.

The modern Democratic Electoral College anchors of New York, California, Massachusetts, Washington state and Illinois -– states that would likely vote for Hillary if she dropped dead tomorrow — make it an uphill battle for any Republican, of course. The toughest nuts remain Pennsylvania and Michigan; Clinton now appears to lead by a substantial 7 points in each (though the Monmouth polls have been shown to be purposely weighted in favor of the Democrats — https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/08/22/monmouth-university-pollster-patrick-murray-busted-manipulating-poll-data-then-lying-about-it/ — and others including even Rasmussen now sometimes include disproportionately more Democrats in their samples, resulting in an artificial 6-point gain for Mrs. Clinton, as well.)

But Western Pennsylvania means the energy industry, over which Hillary and Barack Obama hover like Jim Jones with a free pitcher of poisoned Kool-Ade. Pollsters don’t call newly registered voters, there. ( http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/10/06/trump-new-voter-registration-soars-2-million-door-knocks-in-a-week-and-a-half/ .) And Michigan and Minnesota have seen large colonies of Sharia Muslims air-dropped into places like Dearborn — zealots who believe a Christian handing out Bibles in Arabic on a local public sidewalk should be . . . wait for it . . . “killed.” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DU3G-bHCZhc ; and https://www.thomasmore.org/news/sharia-the-usa-christians-jailed-preaching-muslims-dearborn-mi-officials-sued/ ; and http://www.answeringmuslims.com/p/dearborn.html .)

Can Hillary Clinton show the flexibility to pivot and change strategy “on her feet” in the final three weeks, adapting to these unexpected developments, in order to hold at least two of those final, vital states?

197199_5_

The problem is, she’s clearly physically ill, despite all denials. (We could admire her persistence, if it weren’t for the “lying” part, and her selfish recklessness in attempting to give the country a president who’s highly unlikely to be able to serve out a full term.) Huma and her other doting handlers already limit her “campaign appearances” to small closed rooms (no camera strobes allowed — https://vid.me/crjJ .) where a hundred or so supporters or hired seat-fillers are photographed to make them look like a crowd. She’s been taking off two weeks out of four to “rest” ever since August, counting on her allies in the mainstream press to cover for her, to not mention she’s home bathing in the blood of virgins, or whatever Countess Dracula scheme she resorts to.

In a real sense, there IS no candidate to go out and ad lib a new strategy “on her feet.” And the image of this valiant if decrepit figure being drugged up, wired to some kind of anti-seizure battery pack, tied to her saddle like El Cid, and wheeled out to deliver to a hundred puzzled college girls in a locked room her substance-less stump speech about “all of us coming together” (wasn’t that the Beatles?) — given that she’s the last champion of a doddering, discredited, tax-devouring “Incumbent Republicrat Party” that includes the Bushes as well as the Clintons, John Thune of South Dakota as well as Harry Reid of Nevada -– is perhaps even more Shakespearian than last night’s silent chorus of the Rape Victims of Christmas Past.

Rigged polling services and big city newspapers and TV networks acting as part of her de facto campaign staff face a problem. My father used to enjoy telling me about old-time radio announcer Graham McNamee, who would claim the football running back had “lateraled the ball” to another runner in the final seconds before the touchdown was scored — thus covering the fact McNamee had mis-identified the ball carrier in the first place. Similarly, to retain any post-election credibility, to avoid having a LOT of egg on their faces on Nov. 9, the media and polling services will have to invent and report a sudden (and statistically impossible) “surge” for Trump in the final three days -– the equivalent of McNamee’s last-minute “lateral.”

In the final days her friends, looking to their own survival, will pull the plug.

At times like this, I like to turn to the singularly appropriate words of those great philosophers of the sixties, Bob Gonzales, Don Baskin, and John Sharkey, of San Jose’s Syndicate of Sound:

Hey, little girl, you don’t have to hide nothin’ no more,
You didn’t do nothin’ that hadn’t been done before.

Little girl thought she wouldn’t get caught, you see,
She thought she’d get away with goin’ out on me.

Other girls did it, you didn’t think of nothin’ new,
You went out on me, other girls did it too

You can leave, little girl, I don’t want you ’round no more
If you come knockin’, you won’t get past my door.

You got nothin’ to hide and everybody knows it’s true,
Too bad, little girl, it’s all over for you.

  1. K. Bill Hodges Says:

Vin, thank you so much for writing these great summaries of the current election. Trump was not my ideal candidate by any means, but I will vote for him just to show those insiders that “we the people” can still choose to replace them with a successful outside businessman billionaire who got his MBA from Wharton, and who managed to construct a skyscraper in Manhattan with his name on it. No unfocused buffoon could accomplish those things.

Now the only issue is whether the voting process will be fair and legitimate.

  2. hobitual Says:

we (the citizens of this country) Need trump, more then anything else we need someone who IS not a politician, if we get anyone else the country we grew up in is lost forever
its not just the country thats in danger, its the future for our children that is the gravest part of this danger, the politicians have brought us to the edge of ruin -massive generational debt- social order collapsing-the very culture of the country under assault- borders left unguarded – citizens unprotected- our schools are total failures in educating anyone beyond liberal talking points-government agencies used to attack citizens – all this is the results of “professional”politicians past and present. they need to held accountable for their crimes against this country and its citizens until they are held accountable nothing matters what we say, only actions are needed now only actions will start to correct the damages done by the professional politicians and their entrenched bureaucrats to this country
as donald said in the dabate, its just words she spouts none of which have any truth in them
NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION ! words from selfserving politicians are what got us in this desperate state.
We cannot allow this to continue ! its time for all good men to stand firm and say NO MORE NOT WHILE I STILL DRAW BREATH AND MY HEART STILL BEATS
everyone who believes in the values this country was founded on needs to do something to help to further the life of this country, otherwise they help to destroy it ………………….
    we need trump
