To start with, let\u2019s just point out it\u2019s thoroughly unconstitutional for mayors or governors to order Americans to stay in their homes \u201cfor an indefinite time,\u201d or to ban firearm sales. Anyone doing this should be removed from office by legal means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our system of government puts individual rights AHEAD of illusory \u201cmass safety\u201d (with all its predictable “unintended” negative consequences) — especially in the case of an apparently (so far) minor epidemic that\u2019s killed a couple of hundred Americans, and will probably end up killing a few thousand — far fewer than die on our highways every year, and in contrast to the 12,000 to 60,000 (mostly elderly, already quite sick) Americans who die of the \u201cregular old flu\u201d every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(\u201cAnything that will save a life\u201d? Not really. Lots of lives could be saved by banning motorcycles and commercial air travel, lowering speed limits on the interstates to 25 miles an hour, and requiring that every automobile weigh at least three tons and be powered by a motor that wont GO faster than 25 miles an hour. You wanna try that \u201canything that will save a life,\u201d again? In the real world — since crashing the economy could kill LOTS of people who don’t grow their own food — we apply something called a \u201ccost\/benefit analysis.”)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m\nnot even sure we should accept as fact the report that 200 Americans\nhave \u201cdied of the coronavirus.\u201d They may have contracted the\ncoronavirus and then died, but if most of these folks were over 75\nand already bedridden with multiple other illnesses that had sapped\ntheir immune systems, you\u2019re telling me every one of those death\ncertificates says \u201cDied of coronavirus\u201d as the leading or only\ncause of death? \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governors have a right to CALL OUT the militia, and to ARM the militia, not to disarm the militia (which is you and me, if you know how to use a firearm, as you should) and not to order the militia to stay in our homes. THEY work for US, remember?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Although I do always wonder about anyone who rushes out to \u201cbuy a firearm\u201d at times like this. Why don\u2019t you already own several? After all, when your home is invaded and seconds count, the police are only 12 minutes away . . . unless it\u2019s a busy night. And when were you planning to have an expert spend several hours showing you safe handling?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Limited\nexceptions on that \u201cordering you to stay home\u201d? Sure. If a cop or\nfireman knocks on your door and says \u201cThe ground is flooded out\nhere with these rains, and there\u2019s a power line down out by the\nroad, so we strongly recommend you stay inside \u2013 especially keep\nyour kids and animals inside — till we get this handled,\u201d fine.\nDon\u2019t give the hard-working fellow a lecture on the Constitution.\nThank him and offer him (or her) a cup of coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\nthis is a set-up. We\u2019re bring panicked and finagled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I understand it’s hard for Donald Trump or any other elected official to now say “That’s going too far” — especially with a press that\u2019s already shrieking he can do nothing right. (Two months ago his ban on travel from China was \u201cracist,\u201d now everyone has to agree it was the right thing to do, but then they\u2019re right back to calling him \u201cracist\u201d for labeling the Chinese Flu the same thing THEY\u2019VE been calling it, which is, you know . . . \u201cthe Chinese Flu.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course it\u2019s no great comfort to any family to tell them the death of THEIR grandma or grandpa was \u201cstatistically not very significant.\u201d But did America\u2019s press corps aggressively cross-question Franklin Roosevelt in 1942, demanding \u201cCome on, you\u2019re offering false hope, aren\u2019t you? Millions of American soldiers are going to die and then we\u2019re going to lose this racist war, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe we saw something highly significant today: The Let\u2019s-Trash-Trump-and-His-Economy press are reporting today\u2019s incident as though TRUMP did something wrong. When Trump announced Chloroquine works both to prevent and to ameliorate the symptoms of coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci of the massively commercially compromised National Institutes of Health promptly responded that it \u201chasn\u2019t been clinically tested,\u201d at which point Trump backed down and said it was \u201cjust his opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But guess what? The expert wasn\u2019t right. It’s Trump who was right. Fauci is part of the conflicted, sold-out mob that moves endlessly through the revolving door between the NIH\/CDC and Big Pharma, all anxious to create big profits by peddling a new vaccine (even \u201cfree\u201d vaccines can be billed to and paid for by the gubbimint \u2013 including the ones that are only 40 percent efficacious and can cause more harm than good, which is a lot of them.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that mob sure as hell doesn\u2019t want a cure found that undercuts their big plans to market ever newer vaccines, especially if — their greatest wet dream \u2013 this one might actually be made MANDATORY!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
