Gavin Newsom (D), without evidence, declared Friday that the ongoing wildfires in his state prove the science surrounding global warming is now officially settled.\u201d\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/11\/gavin-newsom-at-ash-strewn-wildfire-site-the-debate-is-over-around-climate-change\/\">https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/11\/gavin-newsom-at-ash-strewn-wildfire-site-the-debate-is-over-around-climate-change\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The governor is right &#8212; though not in the way he pretends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In fact, \u201ccatastrophic man-made global warming\u201d has been debunked ten times over.  Every one of the alarmists\u2019 scary predictions &#8212; polar bears going extinct (in fact, there\u2019s a polar bear population explosion &#8212; see<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fee.org\/articles\/the-myth-that-the-polar-bear-population-is-declining\/\">https:\/\/fee.org\/articles\/the-myth-that-the-polar-bear-population-is-declining\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">or . . . island nation of Vanuatu underwater (Nope) . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">has turned to be the punchline to a series giant, very expensive jokes. politically incorrect to HUNT, you know), but also to clear dead brush and prevent more devastating conflagrations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/environment\/2019\/11\/californias-wildfire-controlled-prescribed-burns-native-americans\/\">https:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/environment\/2019\/11\/californias-wildfire-controlled-prescribed-burns-native-americans\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">But what California HASN&#8217;T done it to put the cattle back on its grazing lands . . . cattle that were peacefully (and usefully) grazing there when the first Anglos came to seize the area from the Mexicanos 170 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">(Cliven Bundy, who has long defied attempts by the federal Bureau of Land Management &#8212; which does not own his range &#8212; to get him to stop grazing cattle on his Nevada-approved allotment near the Utah border, has long contended he now grazes the last cattle &#8220;between here and the Pacific Ocean.&#8221;
