Politico reported April 22 “Utah Senate hopeful Mitt Romney was narrowly defeated at Saturday’s (Utah) state GOP convention and will be forced into a June primary, a setback in his political comeback bid.

A quick Internet search shows The New York Times, CNN — most of the usual suspects — trumpeting that Democrat and former federal drug prosecutor Conor Lamb (campaigning as a gun-loving conservative) won an “upset victory” (by 627 votes, out of more than 200,000 votes cast) over state legislator Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District (in the suburbs of Pittsburgh) March 13 – a “stunning upset,” a “Pennsylvania humiliation for Trump” which should have Republicans quaking in their shoes about Democrats running the tables in next fall’s off-year elections.

There was a school shooting in Parkland, Florida, Feb. 14. (Former?) student Nikolas de Jesus Cruz (who was reportedly a subject of bullying there) used a .223-caliber, one-shot-per-trigger-pull rifle (not an “automatic weapon” as claimed by Democratic Florida Sen. Bill Nelson.) Young de Jesus Cruz left 17 dead, dozens more injured.
These aren’t ‘interviews.’ These guys are just there to shout you down

I believe I hear the fellow from CNN (who appears to close his eyes while firing) saying of the AR-15 “It’s a weapon designed to inflict maximum damage,” here:
‘This culminated in police officers falsifying documents, hiding criminal activity, lying on official police reports . . .’

19-year-old Nikolas de Jesus Cruz — who killed 17 former schoolmates at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Feb. 14 — had committed numerous serious crimes over the previous five years, including assault, but had no criminal record (which would have prevented him from buying firearms.)
