Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Any good coach can tell you it’s a bad mistake to spend too much time worrying about the game that’s three weeks away, till you lose your focus on THIS week’s game. We’ve still got to get out and vote on Nov. 6 (if not earlier) to keep the country out of the hands of the Democrats’ rioting Neanderthal mobs (where do they think they are, France?); screeching banshees; Fake Media losers who keep saying Trump’s only appeal is to racists and woman-haters, and the kind of harridans who show up on that TV show “The View” . . . or was there some redundancy in that list?

(Brunette here.) Even a few short years ago, I’d have insisted I’d never vote again. Too much corruption in government; crooked politicians not even worthy of a “lesser evil” vote; rigged elections and voter fraud . . . I was probably as thoroughly disillusioned with politics as it’s possible to be. Years ago, I’d even written an essay or two against voting — although I always recognized it as a matter of conscience, and once got rebuked for writing a piece sympathetic to voters despite my personal stance.

As I write this, the Florida Democrat party has just chosen as their 2018 gubernatorial nominee Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who wants to abolish ICE — Immigration and Customs Enforcement — leaving immigration enforcement to desk-bound attorneys at the “Department of Justice,” thus opening our borders to millions of non-English-speaking illegal aliens, who know and care nothing about our Constitution or our American culture -– while doubtless also handing them drivers’ licenses and registering them to vote, as is already common practice in California and its largest suburb, Nevada.
